Sex Sells Or Better Yet Beauty Sells

By Aprildangelo On February 26, 2009 Under Flipflops & Laptops; Social Media

We All Enjoy The Experience Beauty Gives

Beauty is something that inevitably stirs our emotions.
We are captivated and inspired by it.  We find peace and joy in it.  And there is even a powerful degree of satisfaction we receive when engaging in a beautiful experience.

It’s true even the most stubborn and hard-hearted tough guys can be suckers for beauty.  The simple fact is we treat people and things differently when we feel they are beautiful.

Somehow someway beauty changes and enhances them… it just seems to bring more value.  A beautiful sunset enhances the moment whether you are alone or with someone.  A beautiful smile, beautiful flowers, beautiful words.

This explains why people and organizations have invested so much in beauty over the years.

The fact is beauty  pays off.
It gets us in the mood.  To laugh, to learn and be creative, to spend and be spent.  Beauty helps people enjoy themselves in whatever they are doing.  And the truth is, you really can’t put a price on that.

There is a cost to the art and science of beauty.  You have to put in the effort to take care of your health to reveal that beauty.  Somehow we understand that beauty= care and attention.  Someone or something that is vibrant and thriving is always more beautiful. Have you ever been to an animal show?  Well I’ll tell you, the sick animal is never as spectacular as the healthy one.  I suppose this is why  most creatures evolved their definitions of beauty in a mate to match the displays of healthy creatures.

Expensive cars or jewelry are always more beautiful than cheap ones.  Why?  Because they cost more.  You have to invest more to create them and more to attain them.

Have you ever walked into those office buildings with the huge lobbies?  You know the ones I’m talking about; lots of wide-open wasted space.  Vast windows, extra designer couches, and extravagant tropical plants.  These spaces are rarely used and extremely expensive.  The only purpose is for that ahhhhahhhh experience for the people coming through the door.  That’s what makes it beautiful, just knowing its expensive and its only purpose is to be beautiful.  Its like mood space.

So now that we have a sense of the value of beauty.  What are you doing to make your product or service a more beautiful experience?  What are you doing to make peoples lives more beautiful?

It could be the way you write, that extra touch you add to your service, your generous attitude when you are helping people.

Just remember ordinary is less beautiful than extraordinary.  Ordinary is more easily forgotten.

A salesman is always trying to squeeze that extra penny out of their customer.

An adviser really just wants to see their client get the very best value out of their experience.

Believe me, this is where the impact is made; this is where you deserve the trust you earn.

And that my friend is Beautiful!

Thanks for sharing Robert! It is the beauty that sells. Making your product, service and other peoples lives more beautiful is what separates the best.

I agree to this statement:

“It could be the way you write, that extra touch you add to your service, your generous attitude when you are helping people.”

If we add ‘beauty’ in things that we do, we will all end up providing extraordinary camaraderie, business, service, or even relationships. Settling for what is mediocre and mundane is not at all beautiful, so try to exceed everyone else’s expectation and do your share to make this world a ‘beautiful’ place to live in.

Its is beauty that sells, that applies to art, music, sex and websites. Anything that is pleasing to the eye or any of the other senses for that matter keeps the attention of the viewer/visitor for longer.

That is why it is worth going the extra mile to make what you present to people something a little bit special so that you can stand out from the crowd.
